When someone calls 999, you will be their first point of contact in a medical emergency. Based in our Exeter Control Room, you will listen, assess and respond with care – capturing vital information, offering reassurance and ensuring every patient gets the right care at the right time.
The role is part-time 24/7 365 days a year. Flexibility will be considered through a flexible working application.
Responsibilities- Listen to emergency 999 calls and assess patient situation.
- Capture and record vital information accurately.
- Offer reassurance and support to callers.
- Coordinate with ambulance services to ensure timely dispatch of the correct response.
- Operate within the control room environment for 24/7 shifts.
- Age 18-30 years.
- Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work.
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- Standard working week of 37.5 hours.
- Holiday entitlement of 27 days per year, rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.
