Overview

Radiographer Exeter Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Full time | Up to £38,500 per annum depending on experience. 37.5 hours per week.

• Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services with technical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Work with a varied caseload across the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Collaborate with leading practitioners and adopt new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Scoping to develop policies and procedures.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
• Deliver patient care with sensitivity and compassion.

• BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet HCPC registration; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork and the ability to work quickly and accurately.

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is located next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. It includes inpatient and day-case wards, outpatient services, pharmacy, physiotherapy and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology (including invasive procedures), general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT and gynaecology.

The hospital uses advanced equipment, including a MAKO robot for certain joint replacement procedures.
