Overview

ADHD Assessor CYP – Contract (2 Weeks) – Remote / Hybrid Options Available

Are you an experienced CYP ADHD Assessor looking for a rewarding temporary role? Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Contract ADHD Assessor CYP to join a leading independent neurodevelopmental provider. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful assessments for children and young people within a multidisciplinary team, supporting NHS and private pathways. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments for children and young people, aligning with NICE guidelines and DSM-5 criteria
  • Gather and analyse developmental histories, standardised assessment tools, and collateral information to support diagnosis
  • Produce detailed and high-quality diagnostic reports with clear clinical recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Communicate assessment results sensitively to young people, families, and professionals
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, governance, and professional standards
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
Candidate Requirements
  • Current registration with NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England
  • Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RSCN), Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist, or Social Worker
  • Proven experience conducting ADHD assessments for children and young people
  • Strong understanding of DSM-5, NICE guidance, and neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Excellent report writing, clinical reasoning, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
