More detail about the role Perinatal Pathway for Vaccination Failsafe Officer The post holder will complete and monitor systems on a daily basis to ensure national requirements are being met, escalating any areas of concern, and highlighting incidents or breaches to the relevant clinical team. They will provide high quality data to the clinical team ready for national submission of activity reports and enhanced data reporting.
This includes data for Pertussis, RSV and FLU, as well as the neonatal BCG vaccination programme. They will liaise closely with community midwifery teams, community vaccination hubs, and other Trusts to ensure the smooth running of the Vaccination service. This will include regular attendance y will contribute to quarterly and annual audits in line with regional reporting requirements, with the aim of optimising the delivery of the Perinatal Vaccination pathway.
