More detail about the role We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band
6) to join our multidisciplinary team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert, patient-centred care to individuals affected by lung cancer, supporting them throughout their diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up pathways. The post holder will act as a key worker, offering clinical expertise, coordination of care, patient education, and psychosocial support, while working closely with medical, allied health, and community teams.

Applicants should be a registered nurse with significant oncology experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a complex clinical environment. Previous experience as a Cancer or Lung CNS is desirable. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patient outcomes and experience within a supportive and dynamic service.
