Our Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in delivering a people-focused employee experience.

As our business scales, you’ll be working on HR administration, employee engagement, policy implementation, and people initiatives. This is a mid-level role suited to someone who is confident working across the employee lifecycle, enjoys building strong relationships, and can balance day to day coordination.

You’ll be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical, responsive support while helping create a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and able to do their best work.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end to end employee lifecycle processes, including probation, changes to employment, leave, transfers and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
  • Produce regular reports and insights as required.
  • Prepare employment documentation, letters, contracts, and other people-related correspondence.
  • Support managers and employees with day to day People & Culture queries.
  • Ensure people processes are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in line with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
  • Help create a positive and consistent employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
  • Gather feedback and support the implementation of actions arising from engagement activities.
  • Coordinate performance, annual and probation reviews, ensuring managers and employees have the right information and support.
  • Assist managers with people development processes and resources.
  • Act as a visible and approachable People & Culture presence across the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to deliver people-related initiatives.
Role Requirements
  • A relevant Level 5 HR qualification or professional membership (e.g. CIPD or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in HR, People & Culture or similar generalist/coordinator role.
  • Experience supporting a broad range of employee lifecycle activities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment practices.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence in working with employees and managers at different levels.
  • A high level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Experience using HRIS (we use HiBob).
  • Good data and reporting skills, with the ability to turn people data into useful insights.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience using HiBob.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement surveys, action planning, and culture initiatives.
  • Familiarity with employment law and HR compliance.
Benefits Of Working At Nexus Mods
  • We work a 4-day week of 32 hours, with no reduction in pay.
  • An allowance of £25 each month to spend on video games.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Private BUPA healthcare for you and your family.
  • A very flexible training budget.
  • Regular social events throughout the year. Participation is optional!
