Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established organisation in Exeter for a Temporary Recruitment Resourcer to join its in-house Talent Acquisition team. This is a full-time temporary assignment running until at least 31 December 2026, supporting the team through a busy period of hiring across the organisation.

The Role

As Temporary Recruitment Resourcer, you will be the first point of contact for many candidates, carrying out initial sift calls and keeping vacancies moving through each stage of the process. Alongside screening, you will look after recruitment administration and reporting and work closely with hiring managers. The role would suit someone with a resourcing or recruitment background who enjoys being on the phone, or a highly organised administrator looking to build experience in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

for the Temporary Recruitment Resourcer:

Conducting candidate sift calls via Microsoft Teams
Managing recruitment administration and reporting
Liaising with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
Taking notes during interviews and recruitment meetings
Supporting the team with general recruitment coordination

Requirements for the Temporary Recruitment Resourcer include:

Previous recruitment or resourcing experience would be beneficial
A confident communicator who is comfortable on the phone
Highly proactive and well organised
Strong administrative and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and priorities at once

Benefits:

£15.59 per hour
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the Exeter office
Temporary assignment until at least 31 December 2026
Valuable experience within a supportive in-house Talent Acquisition team
