Position Summary
As an Operations Support Agent you will work in a fast‑paced environment, answering customer calls, managing delivery requests and supporting the transport office to ensure urgent packages reach their destinations on time.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls from customers regarding collection requests and delivery queries.
- Sort and allocate premium and distance deliveries.
- Check and investigate failed deliveries or collections when necessary.
- Prioritise and re‑allocate failures for the next day’s delivery as required.
- Use the Customer Delivery Option system to manage customer requests effectively.
- Allocate collections to routes as required.
- Input data into the tracking system.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, managers and other depots.
- Follow Fed Ex processes, procedures and controls, as well as external regulatory requirements.
- Complete daily reports within specified time frames.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 05:00‑13:30. Salary: £14.02 per hour.
