Location:

Exeter, Devon
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 plus 30 days holiday rising with service, vendor certifications/qualifications, private pension, private healthcare, pool cars/vans.

We are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well‑established, innovative Managed Service Provider in Exeter, Devon. The successful candidate will provide technical support to customers and end‑users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service delivery. In addition, you will get involved in exciting project work and visit customer sites.

• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and end‑users, via both onsite and remote support
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Provide training and technical advice to customers and end‑users
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Monitor system performance and ensure system security
• Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

• Experience with in an MSP environment is a plus
• Technical knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and virtualization technologies such as Hyper‑V or VMware
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
