Client Advisor

We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Commercial in Exeter or Cardiff
. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least four days a week in the office.

Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products.

We are happy to consider those with or without insurance experience. If successful you’ll be provided with a first‑class induction and the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications.

• Provide excellent client service on all aspects of account management, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
• Ensure timely completion of all set tasks to maintain client satisfaction at all times.
• Demonstrate adaptability when required to support colleagues in completing business‑critical tasks.
• Develop meaningful working relationships with insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients.
• Through training, coaching and mentoring, gain a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer and stay abreast of new technical and product developments.

• Ideally you’ll have a minimum of 1 year’s experience within insurance, customer service or administration.
• Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills demonstrated via qualifications or grades gained during education.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.

• A desire for a long‑term career within the insurance industry.
• Prior experience, e.g. – personal lines, commercial, private clients, claims, underwriting, etc.
• A thirst for learning and the opportunity to study for further insurance‑related qualifications.
