Property Litigation Associate 3-4 Years PQE

Permanent, Full-time Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 (depending on experience)
A highly regarded and growing Property Litigation team is seeking a motivated Associate (3-4 PQE) to join its Exeter office. Recognised by the Legal 500 as one of the very best property litigation practices in the South West, the team acts for a diverse client base including individuals, businesses, institutional landlords, investors and developers.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive and ambitious team known for its commercial approach and strong client relationships.
The Role You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of contentious property matters, including:
Co ownership and neighbour disputes (rights of way, adverse possession, boundary issues, harassment)
Residential and commercial lease and tenancy disputes
Commercial rent recovery and enforcement of charges
Possession claims and professional negligence matters
Claims involving rectification of historic title issues
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, trainees and a large paralegal team handling high volume tenancy management work (disrepair, possession, ASB injunctions, long leaseholder claims)
You will enjoy regular client contact, autonomy and the support of an experienced team committed to developing people and delivering excellent client service.
Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a solicitor with:3-4 years' PQE in property litigation (regional or national firm experience ideal)
Strong technical knowledge across both residential and commercial contentious property matters
Confidence managing a varied caseload independently
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationshipsA commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving
Enthusiasm for supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
Calmness under pressure and a methodical, solutions focused mindset
