Permanent, Full-time Salary: 55,000 to 85,000 (depending on experience)
A well established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or FCILEx (3+ PQE) to join its successful and growing Real Estate team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong existing client base while contributing to the continued development of a high performing practice.
The Role You'll be responsible for advising a broad range of national and regional businesses, banks, developers, and landowners on all aspects of commercial property work, including:
Sales and purchases
Commercial leases
Development matters
Acting for lenders and borrowers
Supporting long standing professional relationships with surveyors, accountants, banks, and other advisers
Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy
Contributing to business development and the wider growth of the team
This role requires attendance in the Exeter office 2-3 days per week, with an initial office based period to support onboarding and integration.
Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a solicitor or legal executive with:3+ years' post qualification experience in commercial property
Strong technical skills across a broad range of real estate matters
Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and client care abilitiesA proactive approach to business development
Experience supervising or supporting junior team members
