Our client, a well-established and Legal 500-recognised South West practice, is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified to 3 PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its thriving Private Family team based in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive and highly experienced team, acting for clients on a broad range of privately funded family matters. The role offers exposure to high-quality work from the outset, together with ongoing training, mentoring and genuine long-term career development.

You will advise clients on matters including:

Divorce and separation

Financial remedy proceedingsTOLATA disputes

Schedule 1 Children Act applications

Child arrangements disputes

Urgent injunctions

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in family law and ideally some previous exposure to private family matters during their training contract or post-qualification experience. You will be a confident communicator, commercially aware, and passionate about delivering outstanding client service.

This role would suit an ambitious and personable lawyer who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team whilst also managing their own caseload and building strong client  return, you'll join a respected regional firm that places real value on its people, offering high-quality work, a supportive culture, hybrid working, excellent training and a clear pathway for progression.
