Salary: 65,000 to 85,000A respected national law firm is seeking an Employment Associate with 4+ years' PQE to join its growing Employment team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, ambitious and nationally recognised practice, handling a broad mix of contentious and non contentious employment work.
The Role You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of employment matters, including:
Employment tribunal litigation and advocacy preparation
Advising employer clients on HR issues including disciplinary, grievance and redundancy
Drafting contracts, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements
Supporting corporate transactions with employment related due diligence
Advising on employment related data protection matters
Working with clients across retail & consumer, charity, developer, energy and infrastructure sectors
Supporting business development, seminars and networking
Maintaining high professional standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:4+ years' PQE in employment lawA minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree
Strong technical and drafting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confidence managing tribunal matters independently
High attention to detail and accuracy
Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
Interest in business development and contributing to team growth
Ability to work collaboratively across a national team
