Position: Real Estate Associate (Residential Development

The Role An exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Transactional Real Estate team within a Top 100 UK law firm, consistently ranked in the Legal 500 and recognised for its strength across regional and national markets.

As an Associate, you'll play a key role in a market-leading Residential Development team, advising a broad client base including national house builders, developers, landowners and registered providers.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to high-quality, complex development work.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting on residential development acquisitions and disposals

Advising on affordable housing transactions for developers and registered providers

Supporting on strategic land projects, including promotion agreements and option arrangements

Handling a wide range of development matters such as:

Overage agreements

Conditional contracts

Title due diligence

Easements and tenancies

Working closely with colleagues across planning, tax and other specialist teams

You'll benefit from early responsibility, meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects.

Candidate Requirements You will ideally have:2-4+ PQE in Commercial Real Estate Experience in residential development, or a strong interest in specialising in this areaA solid grounding in real estate transactions and development work Strong technical skills combined with commercial awareness

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationshipsA proactive approach with an interest in business development and client growth
