Solicitor / Legal Executive – Family Law NQ + Exeter

A well established, full service Devon law firm with a strong local reputation is looking to expand its busy Family team in Exeter.

This is a great opportunity for a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a thriving, friendly department handling a broad mix of family and matrimonial work. You’ll be advising clients on matters including:

• Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
• Separation and cohabitation issues
• Financial settlements
• Children matters
• General family law advice

• Running and progressing your own day to day caseload
• Providing clear and empathetic legal advice
• Keeping up to date with legal developments
• Building relationships with clients, referrers and local networks
• Supporting the team with marketing and business development activity

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (or close to qualification)
• Experience in family law, ideally across a range of matters
• Experience with legal aid is helpful but not essential.
• Strong client care skills and a professional, approachable manner
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Organised, proactive and comfortable using modern case management systems
