Chadwick Nott are delighted to be working with a highly respected South West law firm seeking a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Practitioner with 2-5 years' post-qualification experience to join its well-established Business Services Team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to specialise in agricultural and rural property matters within a collaborative, high-performing environment, offering quality work and strong client service.

The Role You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters, including:

Sales and purchases of farmland and rural estates

Agricultural tenancies and licences

Easements, rights of way, and boundary issues

Advising farmers, landowners, and rural businesses

Liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals

Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture

Maintaining high professional standards and compliance

Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or practitioner with:2-5 years PQE in agricultural or rural property law (or strong interest in developing expertise in this area)
Strong technical and drafting skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Confidence in managing matters independently

High attention to detail and accuracy

Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems

Willingness to attend client meetings and external events
