Cleaning is essential in creating safe, healthy, and welcoming environments, ensuring the well-being and comfort of everyone who lives and works in our spaces.
Position:
We are looking for a dedicated individual to deliver high-quality cleaning services across our properties in Yeovil. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining pristine communal areas and preparing unoccupied rooms for re‑letting. You’ll ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, with a focus on value for money, continuous improvement, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
responsibilities
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the accommodation, particularly in communal areas.
- Working closely with the Housing and Support Team to embed good hygiene standards in individual rooms.
- Addressing any reactive cleaning needs as they arise.
- Able to perform physical work to carry out normal cleaning duties
- Previous cleaning experience in domestic or commercial environment
- Be a good communicator and able to follow instructions
- Be a good team player and able to use own initiative
- Be organised and efficient in carrying out cleaning duties
- Be self‑motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
- Commercial cleaning experience
- Commercial cleaning knowledge
- Keen to learn and develop skills
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- Be professional and respect boundaries of individuals and colleagues
