We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team in Birmingham! If you have a knack for fixing things and enjoy hands-on work, this is the perfect opportunity for you! What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of buildings and equipment Performing repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Assisting with facility upgrades and renovations Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory Collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth operation

We need someone who is not only skilled but also has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Here's what makes an ideal candidate:
Previous experience in maintenance or a related field Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour A commitment to health and safety standards Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
