Facilities Manager

Location: University of Exeter International Study Centre

Salary: £45,000 per annum (depends on experience)

• Lead the delivery of a high‑quality, safe and efficient facility environment.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term planning for academic buildings, student accommodation, catering and office spaces.
• Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and support an excellent student experience.
• Lead, develop and manage the facilities team, external contractors and service partners.
• Take ownership of budgets, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive health and safety, compliance, risk management, sustainability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Centre Director and senior management team to shape the learning and living environment.

• Significant facilities management experience in a complex environment at senior level.
• Experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
