Overview

The purpose of this role is to design and implement Organisational Development and Health and Wellbeing projects and programmes that enable the achievement of Devon Partnership Trusts strategic and operational plans. The post holder will focus on work-streams within the Organisational Development and Health and Wellbeing team remit including management and leadership development programmes, talent management, team development, employee engagement and fostering a culture for innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver and evaluate a range of OD and wellbeing interventions and activities to support organisational objectives, increase engagement and develop a culture of innovation, quality improvement and continuous learning and development.
  • Support staff engagement at all levels, including staff surveys and working closely with the Communications team where there is a developmental aspect within a Corporate Event.
  • Ensure efficient and effective stakeholder management and collaboration to support the delivery of OD and wellbeing interventions.
  • Support the OD manager with the development of high performing teams, maximise service and quality improvement and support teams and individuals to successfully manage change and new models of working.
  • Lead collaborative reviews and implementation of core OD and Wellbeing Strategies and Plans such as Talent Management, Leadership and Management Development, Staff Wellbeing and Experience.
  • Coordinate and facilitate team development interventions and review the effectiveness of developmental activities such as appraisal, supervision and pay progression meetings.
  • Provide expert OD and Wellbeing advice and actively contribute to programmes and projects that deliver the NHS People Plan and the DPT Workforce and OD Strategy.
  • Undertake specific additional project work as required in line with the above duties.
  • Develop and support the internal promotion and marketing of OD and Wellbeing programmes, projects and interventions.
