Information Manager

We’re looking for an Information Manager to join our team based in the South West of England.

• Location: Flexible within South West England – hybrid working with travel to sites/offices across the region.
• Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired.
• Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Environment Agency CDF team (collaborative delivery framework). You will play a key role in implementing information management processes across flood and coastal risk management projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and industry standards, and supporting delivery of client requirements. You will help shape how we manage information across our projects, making a real difference to the quality and efficiency of our work.

• Implement our Digital by Default strategy for information management, including CDE systems and processes across live projects.
• Conduct audits and generate compliance reports, collaborating with project teams to address any issues.
• Deliver training courses and upskilling sessions to information coordinators and project teams.
• Manage and mentor information coordinators, including performance reviews and ongoing support.
• Ensure all projects follow ISO 19650 standards and Kier’s information management protocols.

• Understanding of the practical application of information procedures, including effective and complex workflows, change control and management.
• Demonstrated capability of delivering ISO 19650 across projects.
• Proficiency in managing EDMs configured to CDE principles, viewpoint for projects preferred.
• Understanding of user security permissions.
• Experience working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources, preferably tier 1 company.
• Experience of effective communication with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams and sub‑contractors; ability to educate all stakeholders in CDE protocols, ensuring adherence.
• Comprehension and administration of ISO 19650‑2 National Annex, including TIDP and MIDP management.
• Experience of conducting audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Full driving licence.
