Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager role in Devon involves overseeing electrical installation and refurbishment projects within the retail sector. This permanent position offers a salary between £55,000 and £65,000, plus a full benefits package. You will manage multiple retail projects simultaneously, each typically valued up to £15,000 and running on a 12‑week programme. The role requires travel to Cardiff and Swindon.

Key responsibilities include

• Taking ownership of retail projects and leading them to successful completion
• Managing up to four projects at a time on a fast‑tracked 12‑week programme
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Providing leadership, communication and client management throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintaining a solid understanding of installation and project delivery practices in the electrical trade

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the retail sector
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget
• Electrical trade background with a solid understanding of installation and project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills
• Stable career history with recognised contractors and a track record of successful project delivery
