An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced networking professional to progress into the role of Deputy Network Manager.
We are looking for an individual with substantial network infrastructure experience and a proven ability to provide leadership within a technical environment. Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience of managing people, coordinating technical teams, leading projects, or overseeing operational service delivery.
The successful candidate will support the leadership and development of the service, providing technical expertise, mentoring colleagues, contributing to strategic planning, and helping ensure the delivery of resilient, secure and high-quality digital infrastructure.

The Deputy Network Manager in collaboration with the network manager is responsible for the strategic design, development, support, maintenance, governance and continual service improvement of the Trust's network support team. The post holder will provide staff and technical leadership across all aspects of the Trust enterprise network services; security, WAN, LAN, wireless, data centre and cloud connectivity services. They will ensure that the Trusts network is secure, resilient, performant, scalable and aligned to organisational and NHS England strategies.
The post holder will work to ensure that network services comply with national and industry standards, including the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), Cyber Essentials, and NHS Information Governance policies.
The post-holder is expected to suggest and implement improvements to the service and infrastructure systems, to monitor and maintain those systems, and to provide leadership to the team. The postholder will make a significant contribution to service development and modernisation of the NHS through the successful delivery of programmes, projects, support and the re‑engineering of business processes in conjunction with the service.
