Can you lead the development of safe, sustainable and inspiring workplaces across Devon Wildlife Trust?

Do you have the vision to help an ambitious conservation charity achieve its net zero carbon goals?

Are you equally comfortable leading property projects, driving organisational change and championing a positive health and safety culture?

As Facilities & Sustainability Manager, you will lead Devon Wildlife Trust's facilities, property, ICT and health and safety functions, ensuring our workplaces are safe, sustainable, compliant and fit for the future. Managing a diverse portfolio of buildings, vehicles and operational systems, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues across Devon to deliver our ambitious mission for nature.

We are looking for someone who is a holder of NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent and preferably a member of IOSH to at least Technical level.

This is a strategically important role with organisation-wide influence. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you'll oversee the development of our property portfolio, drive delivery of our carbon reduction strategy and net zero ambitions, manage ISO-certified management systems, and lead a positive health and safety culture. Combining strategic planning with practical delivery, you'll help shape how we work, reduce our environmental impact and create outstanding working environments that enable people to thrive and achieve lasting conservation impact.

This is a full-time, permanent post based at Cricklepit Mill, Exeter. The role includes travel to Devon Wildlife Trust sites across the county and offers flexibility for hybrid working.

Interviews are being held in person on Wednesday 7 October at Cricklepit Mill.

We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and abilities who meet the essential criteria for this role. To achieve our vision, we need more people, and more diverse people, on nature’s side. We are committed to developing an inclusive and diverse organisation, in which everyone feels supported, valued, and able to be their full selves.

DWT is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment.
