Junior Level Lab Technician

Full Industry Training and Excellent Progression. Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 (inclusive of shift allowance). 15% shift allowance. 33 days holiday, performance schemes, life insurance, social clubs, pension, additional benefits, premium overtime.

Location:

Site based, commuting from Exeter, Exmouth, Chudleigh, Newton Abbot, Sidmouth and surrounding areas.

Shift Pattern: 3‑shift rotating pattern after 6 months, 15% shift allowance.

Complete a 6‑month day‑based training program, then work on state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a global manufacturer. Responsibilities include sample preparations, maintenance of lab equipment, and analysing alloy samples.

• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Analyse data and maintain laboratory records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Perform other duties as required within the lab.

• College leaver from a scientific, engineering or maths background.
• Strong desire to gain technical training and progression opportunities.
• Willingness to undertake full training and work within a 3‑shift pattern.
