Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in engineered metal products for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturer offering strong development prospects and long-term stability within a supportive Exeter-based team.

Key Duties

Work within production departments, including Alloy and Foundry
Handle and pour molten alloy as part of casting processes.
Operate high-pressure washing equipment and production machinery.
Load furnaces and manage casting components in line with production schedules.
Follow strict quality control procedures and safety standards at all times.
Work in a physically active, industrial environment as part of a team.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping and compliance with PPE requirements.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not essential.
Good spoken and written English.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and comfortable working in a hot environment.
Flexible approach to working a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
