Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in engineered metal products for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturer offering strong development prospects and long-term stability within a supportive Exeter-based team.

• Work within production departments, including Alloy and Foundry
• Handle and pour molten alloy as part of casting processes.
• Operate high-pressure washing equipment and production machinery.
• Load furnaces and manage casting components in line with production schedules.
• Follow strict quality control procedures and safety standards at all times.
• Work in a physically active, industrial environment as part of a team.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and compliance with PPE requirements.

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and comfortable working in a hot environment.
• Flexible approach to working a rotating shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
