Ryder’s Bakery has been proudly serving our community for over 50 years. From our traditional breads to innovative new products, we’ve built a reputation for quality and consistency – and as our business continues to expand, we’re looking for a skilled Baker to join our growing team.

Shifts are Tue - Sat : 02:30 to 10:30

• Producing a wide range of breads, rolls, and baked goods at commercial scale
• Operating and maintaining bakery machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene
• Contributing to new product development as our range evolves
• Working as part of a fast-paced, professional bakery team

About The Role

Weighs ingredients according to recipe, mixes ingredients using hand or machine to obtain the required consistency, rolls and cuts pastry, stretches, kneads and moulds dough to form bread, rolls and buns, fills and glazes pastry, mixes ingredients for cakes, bakes bread, pastry and cakes, makes cake decorations, spreads icing, fillings and toppings on products

• Previous experience as a baker in a commercial or industrial bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of bakery processes, ingredients, and food safety standards
• Reliability, teamwork, and a passion for quality baking
• Flexibility to work early shifts and weekends as required
