Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives to join Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in engineered metal products for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries, based in Exeter.

Key Duties

Prepare aerospace components for despatch.
Use hand tools and carry out manual machining tasks.
Follow quality control procedures and engineering specifications.
Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
Work within one of the following departments:

Monoshell.
Pre-Finishing.
Finishing.
Support production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing, production, factory, engineering, or industrial experience is preferred but not essential.
Good spoken and written English.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern.

Working Hours & Pay

£15.93 per hour (paid breaks included).
Up to £2,600 per month (gross).
Monday to Friday.
Rotating shifts:
6am-2pm.
2pm-10pm.
Regular overtime opportunities available.
