CNC Operator (Late Shift)
Location: Exeter, Devon
Shift: Late Shift, Monday to Thursday, 11:30am to 9:45pm
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + 20% shift uplift

We're hiring CNC Operators for a busy precision engineering company that manufactures high-spec components for industries where quality matters. The workshop is modern, well organised, and packed with the latest CNC technology. The business has built a strong reputation for producing precision-machined parts for sectors including aerospace, motor sport, medical and defence.
What you'll be doing- Operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Loading and unloading parts
- Carrying out basic inspections using measuring equipment
- Checking parts against drawings and specifications
- Keeping machines running efficiently and safely
- Working with the wider team to hit production targets and maintain quality standards
- Previous CNC operating experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience using micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Someone who takes pride in producing quality work
- 20% shift premium
- Long weekends every week (Monday to Thursday working pattern)
