Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Pinhoe

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 + Overtime

Location:

Devon (Commutable from Exeter, Taunton, Tiverton, Crediton, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas)

Shift: Panama (Days & Nights)

To support the growth and maintain high standards, we're looking for experienced Electrical Engineers who thrive on a challenge and are eager to make an impact.

• To carry out both reactive and planned maintenance in the fast paced environment.
• Rapidly respond to machinery breakdowns and failures to ensure minimum disruption to production.
• Provide hands‑on repairs and adjustments on a range of machinery, including conveyors, packing equipment, wrappers and other critical food production systems.
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct routine safety checks, report hazards, and ensure safe working practices are always followed.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.

• Strong electrical and mechanical background in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment. (Food Manufacturing )
• Excellent fault-finding skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues.
• NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; a recognised apprenticeship or similar qualification is desirable.
