In this role, you’ll be at the heart of driving app adoption and engagement across two Lightfoot apps used by ~60,000 employees across the UK. You’ll have the autonomy to test bold ideas, the tools to see what works, and the ownership to make it happen. This role is office based, with 2 days in the office (usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Main duties and responsibilitiesYou’ll sit within the Growth & Engagement team, working closely with senior stakeholders and owning engagement outcomes end-to-end.
- Work with the Engagement team to design and deliver left-field, creative engagement initiatives that drive standout app adoption
- Use best-in-class app analytics and in-app messaging tools to optimise engagement throughout the user lifecycle
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple engagement projects-tracking performance against KPIs and reporting on impact
- Own engagement for a portfolio of Lightfoot fleet customers, guiding them from implementation through BAU and beyond
- Support customer site visits — launching campaigns, awarding prizes, and gathering invaluable user insight
- Coordinate monthly app user newsletters, working cross-functionally to deliver consistent, high-quality communications
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice and brand experience across all user communications
- Build and own robust, scalable processes, continuously improving how the team operates
- Drive automation and scalability across business-as-usual engagement activity
- Manage competitions, lotteries, winners, and payments with precision and care
- Monitor and respond to app store reviews (Google & Apple), feeding insights back into product and engagement strategy
- Act as a brand ambassador for Lightfoot’s products and services
- Provide cover for senior engagement roles when required, gaining exposure across the wider function
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential
- Previous experience working closely with customers would be preferable
- Computer literacy skills are essential to be able to support our customers as effectively as possible
- Experience with project management/coordination would be desirable
- Prior experience working in a customer-focused role is preferable
- Enthusiastic and hard working
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to customer sites from time to time
- Proactive and able to manage own time
- Comfortable using own initiative to further projects/tasks
- Confident and able to talk to customers over the phone, by email or in person.
- Able to communicate confidently with all levels of staff within the business
- Personable and outgoing, with a good sense of humour
- Enthusiasm and interest in digital products (e.g., mobile applications, web-portals)
