Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner – Anaesthetic/Scrub (RGN / ODP)
We are looking for a registered Anaesthetic/Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at Exeter Hospital. The role requires registration with the appropriate governing body and the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HCPC.
Responsibilities- Work with experienced surgical staff in high‑standard clinical environments.
- Manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Employ clear communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilise state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care and positive patient experiences.
- Registered with the NMC or HCPC as an Anaesthetic/Scrub Nurse or ODP.
- Post‑registration experience in a surgical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Team‑oriented, flexible and motivated.
