The Acute Frailty Ward (previously known as ACE) is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Frailty Team.

The successful applicant should have a genuine passion for caring for older people and demonstrate compassion, respect and a person-centred approach to care. They should have a good understanding of frailty and the principles of comprehensive geriatric care
, with an appreciation of the service’s aims and the importance of promoting and encouraging older people to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life wherever possible.

The role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, as the successful applicant may be required to work across different clinical environments, including Frailty SDEC (Same Day Emergency Care).

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality care to older people, while working effectively as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

You will be looking after Acute frail patients - part of Hfop service. The postholder will need to be able to do clinical role and work well with the rest of the MDT. The postholder needs to have good communication skills, passion and compassion for Hfop patients. This Ward is called Capener-ACE based on RDUH.

Working Pattern:37.5 hours per week, LD or nights
