Role Summary

The role will involve supporting the wider multidisciplinary team in the delivery of care to patients with dermatological diseases. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing patients in a clinic setting, that are taking systemic medication, Biologic therapies and topical therapies. The successful candidate will also be trained in the delivery of Phototherapy and Photodynamic therapy.

The Dermatology department (Heavitree Hospital) provides a wide variety of out patient and day care services Including, clinics, skin surgery and phototherapy.

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Clinical Nurse specialists work mainly within the medical side of Dermatology. Experience of reviewing patients face to face in a clinic setting would be beneficial. The successful applicant will become part of a friendly supportive team an have the chance to gain Dermatology knowledge and skills.

Working Pattern: 07:30 - 17:30
