IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a full‑time Kitchen Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. This is a fast‑paced role for someone who is passionate about serving simple, good‑quality food. As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will support in producing our meals in our busy customer restaurant – including our meatballs and hot dishes! If you thrive in a fast‑paced and team‑focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
What We Offer- Interviews will be between Monday 20 and Wednesday 22 July.
- Start date of employment will be Saturday, 08 August.
- Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
- Availability to work 30 hours a week, including 5 days in 7 (2 days off each week). This role requires working 3 in 4 weekends.
- Latest shift finishing times will be 21:00 pm when the restaurant closes.
- These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year, including the holiday periods.

What You'll Need to Have- Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands‑on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast‑paced environment. You enjoy working in a busy role, where you will be multi‑tasking and working to deadlines.
- Be self‑reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail‑orientated, even when things get busy.
- You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co‑workers.
- The kitchen is a safety‑first, fast‑paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi‑tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun.
- Preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost‑conscious way.
- Following a cleaning schedule and making sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.
