IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a full‑time Kitchen Production Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team. This is a fast‑paced role for someone who is passionate about serving simple, good‑quality food. As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will support in producing our meals in our busy customer restaurant – including our meatballs and hot dishes! If you thrive in a fast‑paced and team‑focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.

• Interviews will be between Monday 20 and Wednesday 22 July.
• Start date of employment will be Saturday, 08 August.
• Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• Availability to work 30 hours a week, including 5 days in 7 (2 days off each week). This role requires working 3 in 4 weekends.
• Latest shift finishing times will be 21:00 pm when the restaurant closes.
• These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year, including the holiday periods.

• Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands‑on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast‑paced environment. You enjoy working in a busy role, where you will be multi‑tasking and working to deadlines.

• Ability to remain organised and detail‑orientated, even when things get busy.

• You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co‑workers.

• Preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost‑conscious way.
