What We Offer- Start Date of employment will be 8th of August 2026.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
- This is a 12‑hour per week position over 2 days, 6‑hour shifts between 06:00 am and 20:00 pm. We are ideally looking for candidates with availability on both Saturday and Sunday. However, we will also consider applicants who can work Friday & Saturday or Sunday & Monday.
- These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year, including the holiday periods.

- You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support checking of stock and answering customer questions.
- You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them efficiently and effectively.
- You have an adaptable mindset allowing you to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight time frames.
- You work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed time frames using standard ways of working.
- Picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in‑store collection or delivery, including handing them to customers.
- Receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery.
- Meeting the customer in the store during picking.
- Using internal systems to ensure customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
- Ensuring products are always available by accurately and promptly completing tasks in your assigned area of the warehouse.
- Commitment to all IKEA health, safety and security rules and requirements within your area and actively helping colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co‑workers, customers, equipment, building and IKEA products.
- Contributing to optimized daily fulfilment operations by working in a lean, simple, and cost‑conscious way, applying and sharing good examples.
- Manual handling using safety protocols and working with the use of pump trucks.
