As an Online Shop Listing Volunteer
, you'll volunteer onsite, creating listings that help customers find and buy donated items with confidence.
By writing clear titles and descriptions and gathering all the details needed to publish listings, you'll play a direct part in generating the income that supports Oxfam's work fighting poverty and injustice worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, using a computer, and has strong attention to detail.

This role is only suitable for applicants aged 18 and over.
We’re seeking friendly, reliable individuals aged 18 or over to create clear, accurate, and appealing online listings that convert into sales. By volunteering with us in one of our amazing retail spaces you will be raising essential funds for Oxfam – all whilst learning new skills and meeting some incredible people.
What you will be doing- Writing clear, descriptive titles
- Creating accurate, honest item descriptions
- Selecting correct categories and item specifics
- Uploading and organising photos in listings
- Entering pre-agreed prices accurately
- Saving/publishing listings correctly
- Labelling and storing listed items using the location system
- Optional:
Taking clear, well-lit, in-focus photos from multiple angles
- Confident using a computer
- Strong attention to detail
- Enjoy writing or organising information
- Some lunch and travel costs paid (speak to the Manager first to understand what is covered)
