Permanent Full Time 37 hours per weekINTERNAL ONLY (Devon County Council Employees Only)

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Accountant to join the Integrated Adult Social Care Team and help us meet the challenges of today while shaping the service for the future.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with partner organisations and Adult Social Care senior managers, providing high-quality financial support and advice. The role also includes line management responsibilities, offering the chance to lead, develop and support colleagues within the finance team.

As a finance professional, you will play a key role in ensuring effective financial management, strong governance, and continuous improvement. You will help ensure our systems and processes remain fit for purpose in an evolving environment while supporting excellent financial stewardship and accountability.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and IT capabilities, and a sound understanding of accounting principles. You will be able to manage competing priorities effectively, delivering accurate, high-quality work to tight deadlines while working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
