Technical Account Manager | £65,000 + 15% Bonus | Hybrid (Exeter)

We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager who can guide customers through their full lifecycle - from onboarding, adoption and optimisation, through to long‑term partnership and revenue expansion. This isn’t a typical Customer Success role; you’ll combine technical aptitude and commercial insight to truly influence customer outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead customers from initial onboarding through to full product adoption, ensuring strong value delivery from day one.
- Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for a small portfolio of strategic automotive accounts.
- Identify and nurture growth opportunities by building long‑term relationships and driving “land & expand” strategies.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business benefits for customers.
- Manage account pipelines, forecasting and CRM updates with commercial discipline.
- Produce routine customer reporting, insights and performance analysis.
- Support problem‑solving and technical issue resolution to maximise system uptime.
- Work with product, engineering and implementation teams to deliver successful deployments.
- Contribute to wider commercial strategy including pricing, value proposition and adjacent revenue opportunities.
- Travel internationally to customer sites when required.
- Strong business, commercial or account management experience with automotive OEMs
- Experience selling or supporting SaaS solutions (not just components).
- Knowledge of vehicle logistics - or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent relationship‑building, presentation and influencing skills.
- Able to operate in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience managing long sales or customer cycles.
- Demonstrable technical aptitude.
- 15% annual bonus
