Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their friendly and professional team.
This is a full time permanent position. Based in Exeter this role is Monday - Friday with no evenings or weekends.
The Opportunity
This role would be ideal for an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for a fresh challenge within a business that prioritises quality service over call volumes and corporate targets. If you're passionate about building client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and working within a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Experience using Acturis and handling a broad range of commercial insurance products would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Processing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
- Handling customer enquiries and providing expert support and guidance
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with Directors and colleagues to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Liaising with insurers and other key stakeholders
- Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and efficiently
This is a varied and fast-paced role, offering plenty of client interaction and the opportunity to become a valued member of a close-knit team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience within Commercial Insurance
- Experience using Acturis (desirable)
- A professional, friendly, and confident telephone manner
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach
- High levels of personal motivation and attention to detail
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
