Lettings Officer

A well-established social housing provider in Exeter is seeking an experienced Interim Lettings Officer to join their team on an initial 6-week contract, with the potential for extension. Based in a central office with a flexible hybrid working pattern, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality lettings service across a diverse housing portfolio. Responsibilities of the Lettings Officer:
Advertise available homes through Devon Home Choice Shortlist applicants in line with lettings policies and allocation requirements Arrange and carry out property viewings Complete tenancy sign-ups, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant Work closely with internal teams to coordinate appointments and shared resources Provide essential support to maintain service delivery during permanent recruitment Deliver a professional, customer-focused service throughout the lettings process Salary & Benefits of this Lettings officer Role:
Initial 6-week contract with potential to extend 35 hours per week (Monday Friday, 9:00am5:00pm) Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, up to 2 days from home Regular travel for viewings and tenancy sign-ups Mileage paid when using your own vehicle £22 £ 24 per hour Opportunity to apply for the permanent position About You Experience as a Lettings Officer within social housing, a housing association, or registered provider Previous use of Devon Home Choice (essential) Strong knowledge of lettings, allocations, and tenancy sign-up processes Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision Organised, customer-focused, and confident managing both administration and customer interactions If this Lettings officer sounds like your next step, apply now or contact Olivia at
