Fire Alarm Engineer

A Fire Alarm Engineer is required to carry out the servicing, testing, and breakdown support of fire alarm systems across a range of client sites. The role involves working both within the local area and, when necessary, travelling to sites nationwide.

A sign-on bonus equivalent to one month’s basic salary is available for candidates who apply directly. This will be paid upon the successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

* Servicing, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems

* Identifying faults and responding to breakdowns

* Attending a variety of client sites

* Travelling within an allocated region and nationally when required

* Participating in and adhering to an on-call rota

Essential Criteria

* Full UK driving licence

* Electrical experience relating to fire alarm systems

* Strong working knowledge of BS5839

* Willingness to travel as required

* Ability to take part in on-call duties

Desirable Criteria

* IPAF and/or PASMA certification

* FIA qualifications

* ECS / CSCS card
