Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company, offering a competitive salary of £48,000 and a Monday to Friday schedule.
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Carry out inspections in line with DVSA standards.
Perform MOT preparation and testing.
Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
Valid HGV Licence (desirable but not essential).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
