Salary: £40,579.20 per annum including £1,000 additional allowances

Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week

We are seeking a Level 3 Electrical Installations qualified Electrician to join our Facilities Maintenance team at HMP Exeter, a Category B Adult Male local prison.

As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues from plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning and administration, all dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment.

• C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications
• A certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements For Electrical Installations 18th Edition
• A minimum of two years experience working as an electrician, preferably within a healthcare, military or commercial environment
• An honest and conscientious character, with an ability to approach challenges in a calm manner and a positive attitude
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
