Are you passionate about supporting people to overcome homelessness and build a more independent future?
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Supported Housing Worker to join our Exeter service, supporting people who have experienced homelessness and are moving towards independent living.
You will provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to residents with a range of complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, trauma, and social exclusion. Your role will be to empower clients to develop skills, confidence, and resilience while working towards positive move‑on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical and emotional support to residents to help sustain their accommodation.
  • Complete assessments, support plans, and risk management plans.
  • Support clients with benefits, budgeting, tenancy skills, and accessing services.
  • Build effective relationships with partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and service monitoring.
  • Support clients to move towards independent living.
About You You will have experience working with people with complex needs, ideally within homelessness, housing, health, or social care settings. You will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to helping people achieve positive change.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Essential
  • Experience supporting individuals or working in a customer-focused environment.
  • In-date, Enhanced DBS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Outlook and Word).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays on a rota basis.
