Supervising Social Worker needed for our Fostering Team in Devon, paying £36ph!

We are seeking an
experienced Supervising Social Worker
to join our
North & Mid Fostering Team
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and experienced social worker to play a key role in supporting foster carers and helping to ensure children and young people experience
safe, stable and thriving placements
.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will provide high-quality support, advice and supervision to foster carers, working in accordance with the
National Minimum Standards for Fostering, Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011
, and all other relevant legislation and guidance.

• Providing regular supervision, support and professional advice to foster carers.
• Undertaking
  unannounced visits
  and contributing to the ongoing monitoring of placements.
• Participating in
  annual reviews
  of foster carers.
• Contributing to quality assurance and the continuous improvement of fostering practice.
• Supporting the delivery of training to prospective and existing foster carers.
• Promoting high standards of professional social work practice across the fostering service.
• Working collaboratively with children, young people, foster carers, families and other professionals.
• Ensuring appropriate recording, planning and monitoring of work undertaken.
• Applying sound knowledge of fostering regulations, legislation and the legal options available for children who may be cared for by people within their network.
• Working flexibly across the
  North & Mid Fostering area
  to meet the needs of the service.
