.Net Developer

I'm recruiting for a .NET Developer to join an awesome tech for good software company operating in the healthcare space, based in Exeter, with a hybrid working model of two days per week in the office.

You'll be part of a collaborative Agile Kanban team building cloud based software products that help millions of people across the UK. In this role, you'll be involved in the design, development and acceptance of software solutions, following Agile ways of working throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You'll work closely in a team to understand customer requirements and gain a clear understanding of how solutions will be implemented. This will involve contributing to requirements analysis, solution scoping and specification definition, as well as helping to define meaningful acceptance criteria. You'll be encouraged to challenge assumptions, assess risks and think critically about the best way to meet user and business needs.

From a technical perspective, you'll write high quality production code using .NET and C#, take part in code reviews and collaborate regularly with the team. The company embraces test driven development, pair programming and mobbing, so you'll need to be happy to work this way, but necessarily don't need prior experience. .

There's a strong focus on learning and collaboration, so you'll be encouraged to research new approaches, share ideas and play an active, positive role within the team and with stakeholders. The company is also embracing AI assisted development, and you'll be supported in using AI tooling to improve productivity, task management and communication, while still applying sound engineering judgement and not relying solely on it.

Salary: up to £55,000
