Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our growing IT team in Bristol or Exeter.

• Design, develop, integrate, and optimize key practice management and business systems, focusing on Aderant and Intapp.
• Provide technical solutions to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
• Ensure business achieves maximum value from third‑party and internal applications, meeting functional and integration needs.
• Drive automation using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure services.
• Support reporting, data warehousing, and analytics requirements.
• Apply AI and LLM‑based solutions to improve business processes and introduce AI‑enabled capabilities within governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities where AI or automation can deliver measurable business value.
• Design, develop, and enhance solutions with Aderant and Intapp aligned to business requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations between core systems and third‑party platforms.
• Review existing configurations and customisations, recommending and delivering improvements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, well‑documented, and supportable.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership through the full solution lifecycle and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure.
• Good working understanding of Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications, ideally including Aderant and/or Intapp.
• Proven delivery of integrations, automation, and bespoke solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small team.
• Experience in a professional services or legal environment desirable, together with knowledge of BI, reporting, and data warehousing solutions.
• Analytical, pragmatic, solutions‑focused, proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial awareness.
• Self‑motivated with ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
• Proven flexibility and hard work, both independently and in a team.
